Abstract

The presented research paper, which is based on the title 'Functioning and Challenges of Juvenile Justice Board', is dedicated to such great personalities in the interest of justice for children, who have an important interest and role in the field of juvenile justice. Therefore, to make the book as useful as possible, a diagrammatic model has been adopted in the writing of the research paper, under which an attempt has been made to present the functioning of juvenile justice in simple language and the experiences of Juvenile Justice Board Farrukhabad and Bench-Child Welfare Committee Farrukhabad have been specially shared with many experienced learned advocates in the writing work. The research paper aims to make the public aware of the general functioning of the Juvenile Justice Board along with the challenges faced on its practical platform, and to make the practical aspects of Juvenile Justice (Child Care and Protection) along with the practical aspects of the parallel second unit of the Board, Bench-Child Welfare Committee, which plays an important role in the field of care and protection of children. Some general information of the Juvenile Justice (Protection) Act-2015 has also been given place, which is necessary for every person who is involved in the judicial field of juvenile justice in any capacity, whether they are advocates, judicial personnel or police department, it is very important for everyone to have knowledge of this, in the absence of which a better role in juvenile justice cannot be expected.
