Knowledgeable Research — ISSN: 2583-6633 | CODEN: KRABAU
Web of Science ReadyDOAJ CompliantCOPE GuidelinesCC BY-NC 4.0
Authors are requested to read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before submitting their manuscripts. Submission of a manuscript implies that all listed authors have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. A duly signed Declaration & Copyright Form must accompany every submission. These terms are aligned with the publication standards of Web of Science (WoS), the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
1
Copyright Transfer & Licensing
WoS | DOAJ

By submitting a manuscript, the author(s) grant Knowledgeable Research the exclusive right to first publish the work. The copyright of the published article remains with the author(s). Upon acceptance, the work is published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0).

Under this license, third parties may copy, distribute, and transmit the work for non-commercial purposes, provided that the original authors and source are cited appropriately. Commercial use of the published content requires prior written permission from the publisher.

The publisher reserves the right to reproduce, distribute, and sub-license the article in all existing and future formats, including print, digital, and electronic media, and to include the article in abstracting and indexing services.

Note for WoS/DOAJ compliance: Authors retain copyright under CC BY-NC 4.0. The journal does not request a full transfer of copyright; instead, an exclusive license to publish is granted for the purpose of dissemination and indexing.
2
Originality & Prior Publication
WoS Required

Authors warrant that the submitted manuscript:

  • Is original and has not been previously published in any language, in whole or in part.
  • Is not currently under consideration or review by any other journal, book, or publication outlet.
  • Does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party.
  • Accurately represents the authors' own research and does not misrepresent or fabricate data.

Submission of the same manuscript simultaneously to multiple journals is considered a serious ethical breach and may result in permanent rejection and blacklisting from future submissions.

3
Third-Party Copyright Permissions
DOAJ

Authors are solely responsible for obtaining written permission from the copyright holders for the reproduction of any third-party content included in the manuscript. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Extended quotations (generally exceeding 250 words from a single source)
  • Tables, figures, diagrams, maps, photographs, and images not created by the author(s)
  • Proprietary datasets or survey instruments

Evidence of such permissions must be submitted along with the manuscript. Failure to obtain appropriate permissions may result in withdrawal of the article post-publication at the publisher's discretion.

4
Plagiarism, Data Integrity & Research Ethics
WoS | DOAJ | COPE

All submitted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using standard detection software prior to peer review. The accepted similarity threshold is below 15% (excluding references and bibliographic content). Manuscripts exceeding this threshold will be returned to authors for revision or rejected outright.

Authors must certify that:

  • All data presented are authentic, accurately recorded, and have not been manipulated or fabricated.
  • The research has been conducted in accordance with the relevant ethical guidelines and, where applicable, has received ethical committee/IRB approval (details must be stated in the manuscript).
  • The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in the preparation of the manuscript, including text generation, editing, or analysis, must be disclosed transparently in the Methods section or Acknowledgements. AI tools cannot be listed as authors.

In the event of copyright violations, plagiarism, data fabrication, or any other form of research misconduct, the author(s) shall be solely responsible. Knowledgeable Research and its editorial board cannot be held liable for any such breach.

5
Authorship & Contributorship
WoS | COPE

Authorship must be based on the ICMJE criteria. All individuals listed as authors must have:

  • Made a substantial intellectual contribution to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the research.
  • Drafted or critically revised the manuscript for important intellectual content.
  • Approved the final version for submission.
  • Agreed to be accountable for all aspects of the work.

The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all co-authors have reviewed and approved the final manuscript and are aware of the submission. Changes to the authorship list (addition, deletion, or re-ordering) after submission must be approved by the Editor-in-Chief and require a written explanation signed by all original authors.

Guest authorship, gift authorship, and ghost authorship are strictly prohibited and constitute a violation of publication ethics.

6
Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest & Funding
WoS | DOAJ

All authors must disclose any financial, personal, or professional relationships that could potentially influence the results, interpretation, or presentation of the submitted work. This includes:

  • Funding sources (grants, institutional support, industry sponsorship)
  • Employment or consultancy relationships with organisations that may have a financial interest in the research
  • Stock ownership, patents, or honoraria related to the subject matter

If no conflict of interest exists, authors must state: "The authors declare no conflict of interest." Failure to disclose a relevant conflict of interest constitutes a breach of publication ethics.

7
Article Processing Charges (APC) & Payments
DOAJ

Knowledgeable Research is a Gold Open Access journal. The Article Processing Charges (APC), if applicable, are clearly displayed on the journal's APC Policy page and are communicated to authors prior to acceptance. APC information is transparent and consistent with DOAJ requirements.

The journal does not offer royalties, honoraria, or any other form of payment to authors or researchers for published works. APC waivers or discounts may be available for authors from low-income countries or on a case-by-case basis upon written request to the editorial office.

8
Manuscript Formatting & Preparation
Guidelines

Authors must prepare their manuscripts strictly in accordance with the Author Template provided by Knowledgeable Research. Non-conforming manuscripts may be returned without review.

Required elements include:

  • Structured body (Introduction, Review of Literature, Methodology, Results & Discussion, Conclusion, References)
  • References formatted in APA 7th Edition style
  • DOIs for all cited articles where available

9
Open Access, Sharing & Self-Archiving
WoS | DOAJ

All articles published in Knowledgeable Research are immediately available in full Open Access under the CC BY-NC 4.0 License upon publication. There is no embargo period.

Authors and third parties may:

  • Share, copy, and redistribute the published article for non-commercial purposes with proper attribution.
  • Archive the final published version (Version of Record) in institutional repositories, disciplinary repositories (e.g., PubMed Central, SSRN, Academia.edu), or personal websites.

Commercial redistribution or resale of the published content without prior written permission from the publisher is prohibited.

10
Peer Review Process
WoS | DOAJ

Knowledgeable Research follows a rigorous Double-Blind Peer Review process. All submitted manuscripts undergo:

  • Initial editorial screening for scope, formatting, and plagiarism.
  • Double-blind peer review by a minimum of two independent expert reviewers.
  • A final editorial decision (Accept / Minor Revision / Major Revision / Reject) communicated to the corresponding author.

Authors are expected to respond to reviewer comments constructively and within the stipulated revision period. Failure to submit revisions within the given timeframe may result in withdrawal of the manuscript from consideration.

11
Corrections, Retractions & Post-Publication Changes
COPE | WoS

The journal adheres to COPE guidelines for handling corrections and retractions. Published articles may be subject to:

  • Corrections (Errata): For minor errors that do not affect conclusions.
  • Expressions of Concern: Issued pending investigation of potential misconduct.
  • Retractions: Issued in cases of confirmed misconduct, significant error affecting conclusions, or duplicate publication.

Authors are obligated to notify the editorial office promptly if they discover significant errors in their published work and to cooperate with any post-publication investigation.

12

Policy

Knowledgeable Research and its publisher (SAFE — Society for Academic Facilitation and Extension) reserve the right to modify, update, or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time, in line with evolving publication standards, indexing requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
