Maharshi Dhondo Keshav Karve was an idealistic social reformer who made special efforts for women's upliftment throughout his life. He lived his entire life for the upliftment of others. He considered education to be a powerful medium for the upliftment of the entire human society. His thoughts on education are equally relevant and useful even today.
