Abstract

This research paper presents in detail the discussion of the Panchtatvas (earth, water, fire, air, sky) in the Vedas and Vedanta. In this, the properties of the Panchtatvas, their origin, and their role in creation have been analyzed on the basis of Vedic texts. Various reactive forms of the earth such as earthquakes, volcanoes, gravity, and tides have been explained in the context of Vedic literature. Also, the importance of water, its different types, and the need to keep it pollution free have also been highlighted. The study shows that the Vedic sages studied natural phenomena and elements in depth and understood them from a spiritual and scientific point of view.
