Abstract

The main objective of this research paper is to do a historical analysis of the work and thoughts of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya during his tenure in Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. Apart from political institutions and organizations, the cycle of Indian politics has also been influenced by non-political organizations in which Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is the leader. There are lakhs of people who are blind supporters of the "Sangh" and there are thousands of lakhs of people who criticize the "Sangh" bitterly, but despite this, the "Sangh" has always been the main center point of Indian politics. Pandit Deen Dayal ji was basically a social worker, but when it was felt that the Sangh should also have a political organization, then Dr. Hedgewar decided to send Pandit Deen Dayal into politics. Dr. Shyamaprasad Mukherjee had said at the time of the rise of Jan Sangh that if I get two Deendayals, then I can change the map of this entire Indian stage. Pandit Deen Dayal wrote about democracy, "Democracy is only a means of fulfilling public duty. The effectiveness of the means depends on unity towards the nation in public life and the knowledge and discipline of one's responsibility.".
