Artificial Intelligence and Hindi Literature: Challenges of Authenticity
Main Article Content
Abstract
This research paper analyzes the interconnections between Artificial Intelligence and Hindi literature, examining the contemporary challenges to the authenticity of literature that have emerged. The increasing use of Artificial Intelligence has simplified literary creation, translation, editing, and analysis. However, it has simultaneously raised questions about fundamental literary values such as authorship, originality, lived experience, emotion, and the cultural purity of language. This study clarifies that while artificial intelligence can mimic human-like language structure, it is incapable of the genuine creation of human sensibility and heartfelt emotion. Consequently, problems such as literary plagiarism, a crisis of authorial identity, and confusion within traditional methods of criticism and evaluation are arising. The paper also emphasizes that instead of outright rejection of artificial intelligence, it is more appropriate to accept it as a supportive tool for literature.
Therefore, this research paper maintains that through ethical discretion, clear authorship, and balanced use, harmony can be established between artificial intelligence and Hindi literature, ensuring the preservation of literature's authenticity.
