Abstract

Humanity has consistently strived to make life easier and more convenient through scientific inventions. The 21st century is often described as the age of information and revolution, where humans are even envisioning habitation on other planets, challenging the very boundaries of space. From the biological evolution of humans on Earth to the continuous development of the brain, mankind has brought revolutionary changes in life. This ongoing revolution has now reached the domain of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Experiments and predictions by innovators like Elon Musk have consistently sparked global attention, highlighting both the promising and alarming aspects of AI. While AI has been employed to simplify life, it has simultaneously created an atmosphere of doubt and apprehension in human society. Across all domains, AI now challenges human creativity and intellectual capacity. However, artificial intelligence itself is a product of human cognition—it can process, organize, and analyze information stored within it, but it cannot replicate emotional depth, empathy, or experiential understanding. This limitation makes AI unsuitable as a replacement for the human author in literature. Despite the vast capabilities of AI, human intelligence and creativity remain unmatched, underscoring the truth in the saying: “Jo na dekhe Ravi, woh dekhe Kavi” (What the sun cannot see, the poet can). In literary creation, AI can serve as a supportive tool for primary tasks or post-creation processes, assisting authors in editing, translation, formatting, or content organization. Yet, it cannot independently produce creative literary works as a human writer does. Thus, while AI can augment and streamline certain literary processes, the essence of imaginative, emotionally resonant, and original literature remains an exclusively human endeavor.
