Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Hindi

Abstract

In the current global scenario, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has deeply intervened in every sphere of human life, and literature has not remained untouched by it. The influence of AI on the creative process, criticism, translation, publishing, and readerly behavior in Hindi literature is steadily increasing. On one hand, this technology is presenting new possibilities for the expansion of literature through writing, editing, translation, and digital platforms; on the other hand, it is also posing serious challenges related to originality, sensitivity, human emotional perception, and cultural identity. The present article analyzes the impact of Artificial Intelligence on the creativity of Hindi literature while providing a balanced evaluation of its opportunities and challenges. The aim of the article is to clarify that by adopting AI not as a substitute for literature but as a supportive tool, Hindi literature can be made more impactful on the global stage.
