Preservation and Promotion of Hindi Literature in the Digital Age (Special Reference: The Literary Works of Geetashree)

Abstract
New dimensions have emerged for the preservation and promotion of literature in the digital age. This research article focuses on this very subject in the context of contemporary Hindi literature, specifically the narrative literature of Geetashree. The primary objective of the study is to analyze the availability, dissemination, and the possibilities and challenges in the study of Hindi literature through digital mediums (such as e-books, audiobooks, literary web portals, social media, and digital archives). The ways in which the stories of Geetashree, which express contemporary social reality and human sensibilities, are presented on these digital platforms and the impact thereof have also been examined. In conclusion, the article highlights that digital technology can make the preservation of Hindi literature more robust, accessible, and extensive, and can serve as a significant bridge in reaching the works of authors like Geetashree to a new readership.
