Language, Emotion, and Machines: The Challenge of Human Expression
Main Article Content
Abstract
Language is one of humanity's greatest achievements. It is through language that human beings express their thoughts, emotions, sensations, and experiences. Language is not merely a tool for communication but also a carrier of culture, civilization, and consciousness. Human sensibility—its pain, love, compassion, anger, and hope—all take shape through language.
However, in the twenty-first century, as machines, artificial intelligence, and digital technology have become an integral part of human life, several challenges concerning language and sensibility have emerged. The question is not just whether machines can understand language or not, but rather whether machines can feel and express human sensibility with the same depth as humans do.
