Abstract

The Hindi language has been a carrier of the knowledge tradition and cultural memory of Indian civilization, which in the digital age has formed the foundation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the form of vast data. Based on data and patterns, AI makes translation, literary analysis, teaching, research, publishing, preservation, and creative writing in Hindi accessible and effective. Tools like ‘Bhashini’, AI4Bharat, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity aid in the global expansion of Hindi. However, AI is limited in human sensibility, cultural nuances, and originality; thus, ethics and human editing are essential. AI can strengthen the preservation and future of Hindi. Balanced human-AI collaboration can empower the Hindi language and literature, ensuring its long-term existence and global expansion.
