Abstract
In the current age of information technology, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has entered almost every sphere of human life. In the field of literature, the advent of AI has marked the beginning of a new 'Digital Humanities' era. While literature was previously created solely by humans, AI-based tools now possess the capability for computational analysis of text. Hindi literature, known for its rich cultural and linguistic diversity, now also stands at the forefront of new directions of study through algorithms and big data. This research paper will explain the context of the invention of artificial intelligence and its impact on literature, and will present in-depth considerations on the opportunities and challenges related to its use in literary creation, criticism, translation, and analysis.
The present phase of the 21st century is an era of rapid advancement in science and technology. In particular, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has profoundly impacted every field of human life—education, medicine, industry, communication, entertainment, and literature. Language, the soul of literature, is constantly transforming under the influence of digital media and artificial intelligence. Hindi literature, which for centuries has been a mirror of Indian society's consciousness, culture, and sensibilities, today stands amidst new challenges and opportunities in the age of artificial intelligence. This era not only signals a crisis for Hindi literature but also presents boundless possibilities for its expansion, globalization, and innovation.
