Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has revolutionized modern governance, security, and service systems. However, the increasing use of AI-based surveillance systems has raised serious questions about civil liberties, privacy, and fundamental rights. This research paper examines the interrelationship between AI, surveillance, and civil liberties, and analyzes its impact on constitutional democracy. Within the framework of the Indian Constitution, an attempt has been made to present the risks, opportunities, and remedies associated with AI surveillance.
