Artificial Intelligence Era in Hindi Literature: Challenges and Opportunities

Abstract

The present phase of the twenty-first century is an era of unprecedented progress in science and technology. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has profoundly intervened in almost all spheres of human life, and literature has not remained untouched by it. Today, machines are not only analyzing information but have also entered creative activities such as poetry, storytelling, essays, translation, and criticism. In such a scenario, while new opportunities have emerged for Hindi literature, serious challenges concerning originality, the role of the creator, the sensibility of literature, and the preservation of literary values have also arisen. This research paper presents a detailed and balanced analysis of the concept of Artificial Intelligence, its literary impact, and the opportunities and crises arising from it.¹¹
