Changes in Reading Culture due to Artificial Intelligence

Abstract

The primary objective of writing this research paper is to study the changes brought about by Artificial Intelligence between the reading culture of the past and that of the present era. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is one of the most transformative technologies of our time. It is changing our lives, work methods, and modes of communication. Similarly, AI is also altering the method, or culture, of reading. This is because AI performs tasks like problem-solving, decision-making, reasoning, and teaching new things akin to a human. Therefore, this research essay's main aim is to study what changes are occurring or have occurred between the past and present reading cultures through the use of AI as a new technology. It is observed that a rapid reading culture is developing in the current era due to AI. However, it is briefly studied through the following points that AI has caused changes in both positive and negative ways. This change is extremely impactful. It would not be wrong to say so because the in-depth reading culture appears to be fading away due to the use of various technologies. To deeply study and understand something, it is necessary to read books and literature thoroughly.
