Marathi Literature in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Challenges and Opportunities

Abstract

The 21st century is known as the century of technology. Following computers, the internet, mobile devices, and social media, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is now making a significant impact in every sphere of human life. Along with education, medicine, industry, administration, and media, the field of literature and language is also being profoundly influenced by AI. Marathi literature has a tradition spanning thousands of years. However, in this new era of artificial intelligence, Marathi literature faces numerous challenges, while at the same time, many new opportunities are emerging. This research paper aims to comprehensively review the current state, challenges, and opportunities of Marathi literature in the context of artificial intelligence.
