Abstract

The tendency of youth resentment has emerged as an important social phenomenon in contemporary society. This tendency is not limited to individual dissatisfaction or psychological reaction, but is deeply intertwined with social structures and institutional arrangements. The present study attempts to understand the tendency of youth resentment in the context of the role of social institutions. From a sociological perspective, family, education, employment, and political institutions play a central role in the socialization, value-shaping, and life opportunities of youth.
The aim of the study is to analyze how social institutions influence youth attitudes, expectations, and behaviors and how this influence is manifested in the development of resentment. This research explains the relationship between institutional roles and youth resentment based on sociological concepts such as lawlessness, stress, and alienation. The present study provides useful insights for policymakers and academics by situating the tendency of youth resentment in a broader socio-structural context. This research not only places youth issues within a broader socio-structural context, rather than viewing them as individual or psychological issues, but also underscores the need to restructure and strengthen social institutions. The study's findings may prove useful to policymakers, educators, and sociologists, as they provide an analytical basis for understanding growing youth anger and channeling it into positive social direction.
