Main Article Content
Abstract
This paper explores the transformative potential and multifaceted utility of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within the contemporary educational landscape. As technology becomes increasingly integrated into pedagogical practices, AI emerges not merely as a tool, but as a paradigm-shifting force capable of personalizing learning, automating administrative tasks, and providing deep insights into student performance. This study examines key applications of AI in education, including intelligent tutoring systems, adaptive learning platforms, automated grading and feedback mechanisms, and the creation of immersive learning environments. Furthermore, it analyzes the benefits, such as enhanced student engagement, accessibility for diverse learners, and data-driven curriculum development, while also critically addressing the associated challenges. These challenges encompass ethical considerations regarding data privacy, the potential for algorithmic bias, the digital divide, and the evolving role of the educator in an AI-augmented classroom. The paper concludes by emphasizing that the successful integration of AI in education hinges on a balanced, human-centered approach that leverages AI's capabilities to empower both teachers and learners, fostering a more equitable, efficient, and engaging educational ecosystem.
