Agricultural System in Vedic Period: A Critical Study

Abstract
India has been recognized as an agricultural country since ancient times. The economic condition of the society depended on agriculture and animal husbandry. Aryan people used to complete agricultural work properly. Agricultural work was done with agricultural equipment. Means of irrigation were available like canal, rain, lake, well, river etc. The use of fertilizers for soil fertility was also prevalent. With time, agriculture developed and different types of crops were produced. Which have great importance in the gradual development of agriculture.
