Impact of Artificial Intelligence on the Creative Process of Hindi Literature

Abstract

From the earliest days, man's intellect to create something new has attracted him towards development. It is due to this quest of his curiosity and creation alone that he has become advanced and progressive today. The evolutionary changes in man have given birth to the proliferation of cultural arts and literature. The present time is an era of technological revolution and artificial intelligence. Artificial Intelligence has not only knocked powerfully on every sphere of life but has also entered it in an essential and inevitable manner. The impact of AI can be clearly seen in fields ranging from education, health, entertainment, business, information and technology to language and literary creation. In this research paper, we will analyze how the field of literary creation is beginning to be affected by artificial intelligence. Due to AI, new employment opportunities in the field of Hindi language and literary creation can also be witnessed. AI structures continuously extract and combine data using machine learning techniques, and also analyze it by utilizing neural networks and other models, thereby processing more information in less time, reducing human effort, and promoting optimized conditions and situations. AI-based tools have clearly shown their influence not only in literary creation but also in the fields of research, criticism, translation, etc. AI-based tools are proving helpful in composing poems, stories, as well as essays. AI has also been instrumental in taking Hindi literature to a global platform, preserving literary heritage through techniques like text mining and digital preservation, and making it accessible for research. On the other hand, its misuse has posed challenges before us, such as threats to traditional reading culture along with originality, ethics, authenticity, inactivity, and copyright protection, and if thought from a positive perspective, there are several possibilities too.
