Gender inequality and women empowerment

Abstract

This study on Gender Inequality and Women Empowerment focuses on the causes, effects of gender inequality prevalent in society and the need for women empowerment as a solution to it. Gender inequality has deprived women of equal opportunities as men due to historical, social, economic and cultural reasons. This inequality can be clearly seen in areas such as education, employment, health and political participation. Women empowerment is an important step towards removing this inequality and making women self-reliant. It includes education, economic independence, awareness of legal rights and change in social mindset. This research analyzes various aspects, challenges and positive effects of women empowerment. Also, it emphasizes the need for collective efforts to establish equality and justice in society.
