Abstract

Digital education is a technique or method of learning that involves technology and digital tools. It is a new and comprehensive technological field that will help any student from any corner of the country to gain knowledge and information. It is believed that digital education is the future of education and learning in India. The Government of India has defined various mediums for wider access to sources and means of imparting education in different corners of the country. This article further discusses the mediums and initiatives adopted by the government for digital education in India.
The 21st century is called the era of digital revolution. This era is full of rapid progress of internet, smartphones, e-learning, artificial intelligence and digital devices. The education sector has also not remained untouched by this change. Traditional teaching methods are now giving rise to new possibilities in combination with digital mediums.
