Abstract
This research paper examines the relationship between the teaching behavior and teaching effectiveness of teachers working in senior secondary schools (grades 9-12) in Bareilly city. In the contemporary educational landscape, the teacher's role has evolved into that of a guide, motivator, and facilitator, making their teaching behavior and effectiveness extremely important. This study is based on a correlational research design. Data were collected from a sample of 230 teachers selected through stratified random sampling using standardized questionnaires. The Pearson correlation coefficient (r=0.76) between teaching behavior and effectiveness indicates a high positive and statistically significant relationship. In conclusion, it can be said that teaching effectiveness depends not only on subject knowledge but also on the teacher's positive, empathetic, and systematic teaching behavior.
