Youth Generation and Hindi Literature: The Impact of Technology
Main Article Content
Abstract
The impact of modern technology has brought about extensive changes in the form, dissemination, and modes of consumption of Hindi literature. This research article focuses on the relationship between technology and the younger generation's engagement with Hindi literature. It analyses the expansion in the accessibility and popularity of literature facilitated by digital mediums (e-books, audiobooks, social media, literary blogs/web magazines). Simultaneously, it explores the emergence of new forms of literary expression (micro-poetry, digital storytelling, interactive writing) caused by technology and their impact on young creators and readers. The article discusses both the positive effects of technology (accessibility, interactivity, innovation) and the challenges (diminished attention span, reduction in deep study, information overload). In conclusion, this study highlights that technology is not only transforming Hindi literature but is also becoming a powerful medium for connecting the younger generation with literature.
