Abstract

In the current digital age, technology has profoundly impacted the Hindi literary interests, creativity, and consumption of the younger generation. This research paper analyzes this multifaceted influence of technology. On one hand, social media, blogs, e-books, and audio-video platforms have expanded the reach of literature unprecedentedly, created new readership, and provided young people with innovative mediums for writing and expression. On the other hand, the prevalence of short and instant content (such as micro-blogging and short videos) has also posed challenges to in-depth and extensive literary study. Furthermore, digital media have reshaped the presentation, language, style, and genres of literature. In conclusion, technology is acting as a powerful catalyst in the field of Hindi literature, giving it a new dimension while simultaneously increasing its reach and relevance, although some complex consequences are also emerging.
