Hindi language teaching and artificial intelligence
Main Article Content
Abstract
The rapid advancements in science and technology in the 21st century have profoundly impacted the nature of education. The traditional education system is now shifting towards technology-enabled and student-centered learning, in which artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a crucial element. Language development is based on social interaction and communication. In the modern digital age, artificial intelligence is developing the capacity to understand, analyze, and process human language. In the field of Hindi language teaching, AI-based tools such as e-content, digital dictionaries, grammar exercises, interactive modules, translation, and speech recognition technology have made the teaching-learning process more effective, personalized, and engaging. Artificial intelligence has freed language learning from the confines of the classroom, empowering it through online learning, self-study, and lifelong learning. Although several challenges still exist, such as technological dependence and a limited understanding of cultural contexts, with balanced and ethical use, artificial intelligence can prove instrumental in making Hindi language teaching modern, inclusive, and future-oriented.
