Abstract

Marathi literature is a reflection of Maharashtra's cultural, social, economic, political, and educational life. In the social sphere, in particular, numerous stories, poems, novels, poetry, plays, biographies, autobiographies, and travelogues have been created, providing an exact portrayal of Maharashtra's social system. This literature is further seen to be categorized as Dalit literature, rural, tribal literature, feminist, Muslim, and literature of the nomadic de-notified communities. It also includes spirituality, literature for public welfare, science, children's literature, labor literature, translated literature, etc. Today, in the 21st century, due to technological progress, radical changes have occurred in the methods of literary creation and reading expression. While depicting society and culture, a beautiful fabric of emotions is evident. Consequently, as the literary world becomes more vibrant and colorful, the progression of technology—beyond the Internet, social media, and e-books—has led us to the modernity of AI (Artificial Intelligence). This is a revolution in the field of literature. Writers now directly communicate with readers through these mediums. While one must search for traditional printed books, the easy availability of this digital literature paints a picture where libraries might become obsolete. For new writers, genuine inspiration, writing, and publication are easily accessible, and the doors of the literary field appear to be opening wide.
