Ancient and modern perspective of education

Abstract

In this research paper titled "Ancient and Modern Scenario of Education", the development of education has been analyzed from ancient times to the modern era. A comparative study of the ancient Indian education system, in which Gurukuls, Vedic education and universities like Nalanda-Takshashila played an important role, as well as the modern education system, which is influenced by technological advancement, globalization and changing socio-economic environment, has been presented. Through this research, the changes in the objectives of education, curriculum, teaching methods and social relevance have been explained. Also, this article presents some suggestions regarding the future direction of education.
