Abstract
South Indian cinema superstars Ram Charan and Jr NTR's film 'RRR', based on the story of the war against the British rule, can see friendship, betrayal, emotion, strong dialogues and dashing action. It is being told that this film is based on the story of the life and rebellion of two revolutionaries Alluri Sitaram Raju and Komaram Bheem. Actually, during the British rule, the main focus of the British was on exploiting the resources here. In this sequence, the Madras Forest Act of 1882 was brought with the aim of exploiting the forest resources and lands here. With the help of this law, the local forest dwellers were banned from using their own resources. The tribals were forbidden from cutting trees for firewood. Due to this law, the tribal communities there were not able to do farming under the traditional Podu agricultural system. Let us tell you that the Podu agricultural system is a kind of Jhum farming. So in this way this forest law became the reason for the Rampa rebellion. Initially, the leaders of this rebellion, including Alluri Sitaram Raju and Komaram Bhima, used Gandhian methods of non-cooperation and civil disobedience. But when the deaf British government did not understand this language, these revolutionaries took up arms against colonial rule. Thus, the Rampa Rebellion, also known as Manyam Rebellion, was a tribal rebellion started in the Godavari branch of the Madras Presidency under British India. It started in August 1922 and continued until Raju was imprisoned and killed in May 1924.
